Discipline Policy
Consequences  for rule violations are:  
  • Detentions 
  • After School Opportunity (ASO - 2:30 - 4:30 P.M.)                     
  • On Campus Suspension (Student Intervention Program - SIP)              
  • Off Campus Suspension
  • Meeting with the Discipline Committee (Parent & Student)              
Each non-served Detention = 1 After School Opportunity
 
Detentions
Arrangements for detentions will be made by individual teachers.  Contact may be made with the teacher to verify time, date and location.
Students are to bring homework, SSR book or teacher assigned material.
Parent signature is required on the detention slip.

On Campus Suspensions (Student Intervention Program - SIP)
On Campus Suspension is assigned in some cases in place of an at home suspension. Homework Request Sheet must be filled out and student must work on assignments. Students will also do reflective work as to the poor choice he/she made to get OCS. Student must report directly to OCS by 7:55 A.M. Lunch is eaten in the room (sack lunch from cafeteria or lunch from home).  Students assigned OCS will also serve an after school detention as a part of their there consequence.
Failure to work on assignments-parent will be contacted to take student home.

Suspension
The student is suspended at home for school rule violations or continued defiance of authority.  A Local School Placement Committee Meeting may be called if necessary.
Student and parents are notified, and a parent conference is scheduled.
Student is responsible for missed assignments.
Parents may request homework for suspensions that are 3 or more days.
